One Wall = THREE Scenes!

The refurbished Bay Windowseat Wall for the Main Set Cottage is complete
and not only completes the Cottage Set, it is actually also the stages for
THREE separate Halfland scenes inside the cottage:

1.  Stop-motion puppet Kyra, the mermaid, sits on the seat cushion partially under the blanket, taking a bite of a special dinner Rana has made for her. [DUSK/Interior Cottage/POV/Close Up]

2. The Lacemaking Spider puppet in the top hat in the attic spins a beautiful web lace as the camera slowly pans across to reveal what he's doing. [DARK/Interior Cottage/Horizontal Panning Close Up]

3. Stop-motion puppet Writing Mouse freezes in the lamplight when it looks like a traveling party may be getting ready to leave and then scrambles down Rana's red cloak's pocket and hides out of sight so he can go along. [DARK/Interior Cottage/Vertical Panning Close Up]

Cane edging on the upstairs web window and attic ledge was steamed, bent, and nailed on to finish the set better.

Stacks of things to better hide the lace-making spider were built and added so the spider could be better revealed there.

Re-gluing, minor touching up, and repairs to the Tuder and web windows wood mullions. (**I am proud that I sourced the slightly curved twigs from my pecan tree for the web window effect. )

The bench was repaired, and all holes/gaps were filled with wood filler and painted to match.

A strong hook for the hanging cloak was built and added.

More spiderweb lace samples were added to the attic wall.

White faux shearling edge was sewn onto the cloak hood for contrast while hanging on a deep-colored wall.
