Prying Eyes
I forgot to show you the prying open of the big Rana UltraCal 30 mold back in the later part of July.
The original sculpt is always gone as part of the mold making process but here's what a kraft papier mâché cast from the mold looks like with the full armature and head assembled in position.
Lovely round body, but somehow it's making me think of roast chicken...
ReplyDeleteI know why, Nick! It's the way her half legs look like drumsticks! HA! And the plumpness overall. I'm liking how her neck is disproportionately long and her legs too short for humans. The quirkiness makes her more an interesting character I think. xoxo
