Hooked On You
Once I knew the mouse needed to shimmy into the cloak pocket when trouble hits, I knew I needed a strong hook made to scale to hang it on. Here it is finished with me pressing down with force on it on the finished window seat set wall.
Here it is holding to heavy cloak in place. See next post on how the cloak has been rigged to hold the mouse puppet during animation.
A quick, super quick montage of the hook being built from hair clips and glue. It's one of those tiny touches in the cottage that are stupid to take time making at all but, hopefully, will lend a sense of reality to the film. When Rana puts on the cloak to leave, even if I don't show that action, we'll see the empty hook still there on the wall as she leaves.
