Preview of Cottage Interior at Dusk

I have been paying very close attention to light, how it falls at various times of day, and the quality of each season. I noticed the evening sunlight hitting the cottage as I was shooting the new Autumn Branch, and I tried to capture it with my shooting camera and my phone, but it was too low.

So, I took the lights lying around to see if I could recreate the effect in a way that could be recorded. A light that felt like Dusk, a quiet light that did evening things to a house like this.

It's time to gather inside, light the hearth fire for hot soup, and do a little quiet sewing while listening to a dear visiting friend before tucking into bed for a good night's sleep.
